Jennifer Shahade, my favourite female chess-artist from the US writes that her HulaChess video (check out my blog from September 17) has made the cut for the next phase of the first Guggenheim Youtube Play Biennial!   Why not investigate her site while you are at it!
Jennifer writes that her entry was amongst the 125 from over 23,000 entries from 91 countries  to have succeeded to this stage. Congrats! 
She continues: Browse the shortlist at YouTube.com/Play and find hulachess either by my username (Superjenium) or in the “Non-Narrative” Category. Now an art and filmstar jury including Shirn Neshat and Takashi Murakami will whittle the field down to 20 videos to be installed at the Guggenheim Museum in New York (as well as the Bilbao, Venice and Berlin institutions) from October 21-24.”
