SURFING THE NET…
One of the great pleasures in life is just to start looking for an interesting photo, and then to take it from there. Some photos tell stories; some tell lies; most are just boring. But some really move me. Or make me laugh….in anycase, here are some great things to look at, appreciate and enjoy.
Live for today! Even if it is Monday.
Robert Armstrong flips the bird in The Lost Squadron (1932). But this is the attitude that we should all have. Flying high, not a care in the world, living the moment….ofcourse, when you get back to earth it might be a bit different!
Always does. Sometimes even out loud…
Live for today!
Coffee and cigarettes.
If you got it, flaunt it.
Gale Storm in Roy Del Ruth’s It Happened on 5th Avenue (1947).
Cyd Charisse in The Band Wagon (1953). I like the entrance she makes…red dress, big bossom, queen-like.
Great photo. Unfortunately, I could not find the author. Typical bar scene. Been there…
I love her look.
