India Ch, Trivarur,  2015.11.17  gm Karthikeyan Murali– gm Venkatesh M.R. Position before Black’s 37th move.  A hard fought game so far, where Black has been pressing.  Here, probably short of time, Black erroneously simplifed with 37…Bxf5?  38.Qxf5 Qe3+ 39.Rdf2 when White is better, his pawn structure on the Queenside clearly being superior. Black even lost after 39…Rf6 40.Qe4 Qc1+41.Kh2 Rxf4 42.Qxf4 Qe1 43.Rd2 h6 44.Rd7 etc (White won on the 50th move)

FROM THE POSITION above, Black has a surprising tactical resource that wins material, obliging White to struggle for a draw. Do you see it?

WHAT IS BLACK’S STRONGEST MOVE?
